I hope you know you are welcome here. I hope you find something you’re looking for. I hope you are encouraged.
I want the weary to find rest.
The grieving to find comfort.
The lonely to have community.
The hungry to be fed.
The lost to be found.
I want to spur you on towards Christ. So whatever feeds your soul and sends you to your knees. Whatever causes you to lay it all down at His feet. Do those things.
I hope you find this a place to come home to, wherever you are.
In mothering and loss. In homeschooling and travel. In marriage and life. I’ve been in all those places. I’ve found joy in the mornings. I’ve found beauty in the ashes. I’ve endured long nights and tragic dawns. I’ve found peace for my unsettled soul. I’ve raised my hands in praise. I’ve laid my crumpled body down at the cross. Through it all I’ve found the Lord whispering to me. Calling me in. Into His arms as His child. To rest. To dwell. To be still.
I’m just so glad our paths are crossing. If you’d like to know more about the loss of my son or parenting in general, please explore the blog a bit or you can pick up a copy of my book, Still. You can find me on Instagram chatting a bit about life, micro-blogs and stories on homeschool and travel life. Facebook friends see a bit of that, too. And my email friends, well, that’s more like coming to my table for coffee. I open up a little more there. I go a little deeper and even talk about upcoming projects. You can sign-up for there here.
I’d like to invite you in to all these places. I hope you join me.
