Welcome

Hi! I’m Tiffany. I’m prone to using a lot of words to make things sound lovely. Because of that I have written and re-written this about a dozen times just trying to be concise. You just want to know what you are getting into, right?

Here’s what you’ll find in my little space: writings/musings/stories on my life. I have a big(ish) family; five kids and my wonderful husband. Topics include: homeschool, travel, adoption, child loss/grief, marriage and living a Christ-centered life.

We strive to live simply and love well. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here.

Tiffany

the small things.

have you ever been this excited over the first snowfall?

do you know how small a baby lady bug is?

tried to find treasure frozen in ice?

when was the last time you stopped to jump in a puddle?

or had a real conversation about life?

or listened to a cat purr?

or tried to calm your baby brother?

how delicious is a muffin made with your own hands?

ever noticed how amazing the sky looks? it looks different every time you look at it.

have you ever seen a caterpillar spinning a cocoon?

have you ever wondered what is under a leaf?

have you felt those tiny sticky legs crawly on your soft arm?
Thao taught me a lot about life. A lot. He taught me I don't know much, in fact, I don't much of anything. But today I am reminded that he taught me to slow down. He had his own agenda. He slow danced through life. He enjoyed it. He noticed the small things. No, he reveled in the small things. The things that I certainly never noticed until he came along.
